MSW Crit 15/04/18

This being only my second race ever and it being sundourne I went in optimistic at what result id come out with.

Started good with my legs feeling strong and holding around 5 wheel in the pack for the majority of the event.

as the pace started to rise I inevitably started to fall down the places and sat on the back of the bunch.

Then the legs gave out and I was spat off the back with around 8 laps to go, but I persevered and chased on for around 2 laps but to no avail.

I carried on working as a lad that was spat earlier on in the race caught up with me and we started to ride together and with one lap to go we did just that until the sprint finish.

I came away with 10th place and for many this would be a normal result but for me it was a win. with this only my second ever race and only being able to hang onto the group at Rhyl a few weeks before its a result i'm thrilled with and shows i'm improving as a racer.

Now onto the MSW crit on the 29th to try and improve again.

(i'm sure Jason Davis has some photos of me suffering)
